A Grain of Salt…

Since I just got a new Venus Fly Trap, I thought I would do some research on the Internet to make sure I know what to do with it. So far, from the container, it told me not to put it in direct sunlight, do not feed it hamburger meat, and make sure it gets [...]

Spotty’s Haircut

I had to give Spotty a haircut today. Her leaves were really droopy like the plant’s leaves were weighing it down so I gave it a quick snip.. Not before I took a few shots of the pretty flowers on this plant.

New Additions to the Fold…

Snappy

I felt like taking a few photos today when I got home. Mainly because the moon out was so pretty… and it looked so huge. Of course that’s all perspective. It’s no larger than it was last night.. it looks that way because it was lower in the sky.
What do you think? I think [...]

Orionid Meteor Shower…

Well, it was a very ho-hum show.
Basically, I set the alarm for 3:45am and set my camera and my new lawn chair out on the balcony for a nice view. Of course, since I’m still in the city, and there is plenty of light pollution, it was very hard to see the faint meteors.
I saw [...]

I didn’t do much this weekend. It was pretty much a really quiet weekend… I really wanted to catch the premiere of Legally Blonde the Musical on MTV… Yes, I actually tuned into MTV to watch this program.

Unfortunately, unlike previous meteor showers, I don’t think I’ll be able to witness them. I just checked the weather forecast and it appears [...]

What am I doing?

I’m still knitting that baby blanket. I am about halfway through the first row of hearts… and it’s looking so much better now… I think the problem last time was my loose yarn.. I was very loose with the stitching — especially the hearts.. so now, I’m trying to keep them tighter.
I’m also brain-aging… [...]
