Well, after getting used to my shiny new laptop, I thought, why don’t I print something? So.. I plugged my shiny new computer to my printer and discovered that my cheap-o printer, which I got on sale at Wal-Mart, does not work with Mac OS!
SO! I tried to find drivers.. but it still doesn’t work. This printer will not work with a mac. This Lexmark X3430 will not work with Mac! There are no drivers! No solutions… well.. maybe that might not be true. I think that since it works with Windows, I can still use Windows on this mac.. I can use Boot Camp. I just have to install the drivers for the wireless network so it will work with the Windows partition. (Or at least that’s what I read.) Unfortunately because I cannot print, I can’t print out the instructions and have them readily available.
Alternatively, I guess I can just buy a new printer.. but why when I went through all the trouble getting that thing to work in the first place? And wouldn’t you know it: My previous printer, which I left out for someone to adopt, would have probably worked with this computer. So much for that.

Hi, maybe you can try this
http://gutenprint.sourceforge.net/p_Download.php3
The printer is not listed but maybe some other device of Lexmark will do the job. good luck
